Introduction

Kia ora, I am a counsellor based in Dunedin, dedicated to working gently and compassionately with clients as they navigate through traumatic life experiences. I have been working as a counsellor for the past eight years, including five years of experience supporting victims of serious crime. This has given me a deep understanding of the complexities of trauma and healing, and the importance of a client centred approach to therapy. I am committed to creating a safe, empathetic space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered on their journey toward recovery. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Social Services, Counselling - Distinction awarded, Otago Polytechnic
• Certificate in Human Services, Level 4 Social Services- Distinction awarded, Otago Polytechnic
• Victim Support - Sudden death, suicide, non accidental injury - Specialist training - Sexual violence and homicide
